Rationale For Moving Image Advertisement
Advertisement Aim
The Aim of my Advert is to encourage my target audiences which is between the ages of 15-19 to make them recycle more often and to how them the benefits of recycling.
What is your final idea?
My final idea is to have two split screen where one person who doesn't recycle doesn't have any electricity to play his game (PS3) Where on the other side a person who does recycle plays his PS3, Music system and on his computer but never seems to run out of electricity.
Why have you decided to choose this idea?
The reason I have decided to go for this idea is because the advert involves playing game, listening to music and being on computer which most of my target audiences does on the daily basics. Also it well connect them to the advert because of the pros I have used in the advert which is PS3, Computer and music system.
What advertising strategies will you use?
The advert strategies I will be using for this idea would primarily be fear, guilt and humour because teenagers really find it annoying when their music system, Computer or Game console doesn't work properly or when they are playing/watching/listening to something to really important. The humour will come from when the person who get really annoying starts to act all stupid and where the other one is dancing.
How does your advert appeal to your target audience?
My advert appeals to my target audience because it involves game consoles/music and that's what most teenagers are into right now and if they see that if they don't make a change now and start recycling they might face that future where they won't be able to play games, listen to their music or watch movies.
What are your areas for development or improvements that need to be made?
I think I would need add more humour into my advert which might come through the dance they will be doing.
